Help Create a Buzz About Journeys

Five minutes of your time could help convince a publisher there's an audience for Journeys: 50,000 Miles of Wise Women. Publishers want to know there is a built-in audience before they will sign a new author. From the response I've received so far, I think it is obvious that women will find this story compelling. But the "men/women in suits" want to see numbers. It's all about the buzz.

You can help. If you think other women will enjoy reading about my year-long journey and the inspiring stories I gathered from the wise women I met along the way, then join my Buzz Team and do these few simple things today to help me get Journeys published:

Sign up for the Journeys e-Newsletter. Don’t ever think one voice doesn’t count!
Send an email to every woman you know asking them to sign up for the Journeys e-Newsletter. To make this easy, copy the message below and paste it into your email message. It's always more powerful if you personalize it a bit.
Participate in the monthly Speak Out Poll. Each month the Journeys e-Newsletter will invite your participation. Lots of participation will wow publishers.
Tell your story, if you have a story of reinvention or transformation.
Ask your group or organization to invite me for a presentation or workshop.
Poke around on my site and about what you like and what issues are important to you.

Just think—when Journeys gets published and you see me on Oprah, you can feel good knowing you helped make it happen! I’m doing this for midlife women everywhere to inspire them on their journeys.
